The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH) 1999 require all organisations to assess the risks from substances hazardous to health and to implement and maintain control measures to protect their employees and other persons effected by the organisations work activities.

A Health & Safety Specialist from AB Consultants International will visit your company, review the activities with hazardous substances and undertake the required COSHH Assessments. These assessments will:

• identify hazards and assess risks associated with the use of hazardous substances for each task/activity





• review control measures already in place





• identify additional control measures





• identify any other actions required to comply with the COSHH Regulations.

The Findings will be presented in a report and will include recommendations which will specify if any of the following is required:

• environmental monitoring





• health surveillance of employees





• statutory inspection of control measures

Individual training records for all employees handling COSHH Substances will be produced
